RouteXL allows drawing of drive time or drive distance polygons about points.
These points can be selected from a spatial layer or manually placed.
Manual placement is useful in planning outlet or depot placement. If the resulting polygon overlaps or is not as desired one can just undo the placement and redo it.
The resultant polygons can be exported in most spatial formats: Shape File, DXF, DWG etc.
They can even be saved to spatial databases like Sql Server or Oracle.
